WOW!!!

Holy Cr*p!  It's been almost a whole YEAR since I last posted and umm yeah.....nothing's changed for the better....*gulp*  Quite the contrary....somehow I used my sprained ankle, then holidays, then school starting up again, then, then, then...yeah excuse after excuse.  NOT a pretty sight!
Speaking of "NOT a pretty sight!"...yeah...that would be me!  I'm afraid that people in this town don't know me as anything else but "Mini Dimps' FAT mom"  SERIOUSLY!  We've lived here nearly 2 years (in August) and I've barely lost a few pounds and kept them off.  Actually I've gained like 10 pounds since last I blogged....YEAH 10...T-E-N!!
I STILL feel that my massive weight gain is keeping me from "Living my life", as I'm very self-conscious and realize I'm HUGE...and it is keeping me from visiting my friends back home and my family.  So I'll set myself another goal and THIS time I WILL stick with it...I miss my friends and family back home terribly and have NONE here in our "new town".  I HAVE to get healthy, and get in shape, not only to see my F&Fs...but for myself! (YaY me!)
I've SO had enough....besides LOOKING like Jabba-the Hutt with earrings, my personality is changing....serious extremes...and yeah...I don't feel myself...so that's IT!  I'm back on top of things, I'm SERIOUSLY watching everythin' I eat and shall blog about that on my other blog (I Am what I eat) which is mainly for me but meh, if yer bored go for it! haha
So that's it....workout tomorrow!  Think I'll dig out Bob and Jillian and work it hard like the other Big Fat Losers! Stay tuned and wish me luck!

:(

OMG Today I feel I'm at the Fattest/heaviest I've EVER been! I am feeling incredibly low and depressed. This ankle sprain has taken a toll on me. I want to get back to running but am too scared to try again. I need serious help and have NO idea where to even start. My goal was to lose the weight before my trip to visit family and friends in Winnipeg....now I DON'T want to go and though I HAVE to see family (And put up with their fat comments) I will NOT be seeing my friends. I am far too ashamed/embarrassed.

Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies

Mini Chocolate-Chip Cookies

Saw this recipe on the Weight Watchers Web Page and HAD to share it. It gives you that chocolate, sweet yumminess you crave and barely ANY calories (barely...there are SOME). Give it a whirl...good for kids & grown- ups!

desserts

POINTS® Value: 1
Servings: 24
Preparation Time: 10 min
Cooking Time: 20 min
Level of Difficulty: Easy
Go ahead and grab a handful of these bite-size cookies. They might be little, but they pack a big chocolate punch.

Ingredients

2 tbsp butter, softened

2 tsp canola oil

1/2 cup(s) packed brown sugar, dark-variety

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/8 tsp table salt

1 large egg white(s)

3/4 cup(s) all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp baking soda

3 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips, about 1/2 cup

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF.

  • In a medium bowl, cream together butter, oil and sugar. Add vanilla, salt and egg white; mix thoroughly to combine.

  • In a small bowl, mix together flour and baking soda; stir into batter. Add chocolate chips to batter; stir to distribute evenly throughout.

  • Drop rounded half-teaspoons of dough onto one or two large nonstick baking sheets, leaving a small amount of space between each cookie. Bake cookies until golden around edges, about 4 to 6 minutes; cool on a wire rack. Yields 2 cookies per serving.

Notes

  • Indulge your craving for an intense chocolate experience. Buy a 3-ounce bar of fine chocolate with a percentage of 75 or higher on the label. The percentage indicates the combined amount of cocoa bean and added cocoa butter in the chocolate. The higher the percentage, the greater the chocolate taste and the less sweet the product. Chop up the bar and use it instead of the chocolate chips (could affect POINTS values).

Another Wii-Tastic Thing

On Sunday I bought a NEW Wii Fitness program...it's called Wii-Active by EA Sports (they make the Tiger Woods games we love so much)...and though I HATE having to constantly move the nunchuck from the leg holder and dream of buying a wireless controller (which would make life easier) I LOVE this workout!! You have the option of participating in the 30-Day Challenge a la Bob Greene (Oprah's Trainer) or you can customize it. I'm currently doing the 30-day Challenge and LOVE it...in fact I'm going to do another workout after work. It's THAT fun!
I've also been going cycling every wknd...approx. 6-7 kms each time and enjoying that too. Funny how nice weather (or at least the promise of it) can encourage you...at least for me.
Thus far I've lost 3.3 pounds since Sunday...Oh yeah! Still doin Wii Fit btw and I'm hoping that by summer I'll look somewhat like my old self! Here's hopin'!

kidZ

Ugh! Today I had one of my "day care kids", a know-it all 5 year old (I think they're ALL that way) though cute, annoyed the CRAP outta me! He was idolly chatting about nothing and everything when out of the blue he said "My old Library teacher at my old school is even fatter than you..." and I swear to God I shook my head with puzzlement?! Ahhh *sigh* classic WTF moment...I know, I know he's only 5 but still, true or not...JERK! hahaha So yeah...the end.

The Return of Gi-Gantor!

Umm yeah...the date is right..and umm..hehehe...I am Gi-Gantor still....and though that sounds like the coolest Super Hero...it's NOT! Today I'm getting back on the Wagon...I fell off, sorta ran behind it for a bit, got ahead of it, then tripped on a huge rock, slammed into a boulder and let all four wheels and a couple of horses push my face into the dirt a bit more...*sigh*
No more excuses...I have a goal...no magic # or size specifically...just A LOT less of me by August Long wknd...holiday time. HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got it On

Yup...today I got it on with Bob! Well, sorta...hahah I got my "cardio" On at least. I just finished a wikked awesome workout with Bob and the gang from the Biggest Loser. It was a fantastic workout...I didn't stop, I didn't falter, I didn't puke! (thought about it once)haha and enjoyed every minute of it!

I love the flexibility of the video itself...you can choose which program/level you want to workout out at --it's broken down into Level 1 -Weeks 1 &2; Level 2-Weeks 3 &4 Level 3-Weeks 5 & 6 and Maintenance. You can also choose to add a warm up and a cool down (both of which are highly recommended) which I chose to do! I loved the warm up...it really got me pumping and ready to go...the workout delivers 100% cardio craziness! So be prepared...if you're fitness level isn't high you are still able to keep moving and follow along....and I loved the cool down...Yoga! Basic yoga, breathing, Salutation, warrior, half moon....all bring you down slowly, safely and left feeling incredibly GREAT! I'm not "exhausted" which I thought I might be...but surprisingly I'm a bit more "fit" than I thought...fat, but fit! haha

I've been running nearly every day...only about 20-30 minutes and am enjoying it too...and so far..no asthma attacks! Which is a good thing since I'm out of medication hehehe (NOT highly recommended & probably stupid on my part) but not to worry all will be rectified shortly...

I feel the combination of all the exercise I've been doing and my asthma medication switch (off of ratio-salbutamol"Ventolin" since November)my health & fitness level is almost back to where it was 10 years ago! Asthma-wise it's back to where I was 15 years ago! So that's AWESOME!

If I can pass on anything...it's to get yourself fit...no matter how fat and/or unhealthy you are or think you are. Just MOVE! Get off your fat, lazy butt, quit making excuses and DO IT! Do it for whomever you want...just DO it!

As Hal and Joanne on Body Break say (Canadian Fitness Commercial Gurus!) Keep Fit and Have Fun!

and I may just do this work out again today...it's THAT fun!
